Earn Your Badges at the Taft

The Taft Museum of Art offers a variety of badge-earning experiences for Girl Scout troops looking to develop skills in art-making, community engagement, and more.

  • Programs are scheduled by appointment, 11:15 a.m.–1:15 p.m. or 2–4 p.m. on Saturdays. Sunday or weekday programs may be available upon request.
  • $8 per scout; includes Museum admission, supplies, and an information packet.
  • FREE for up to two troop leaders | minimum payment: $80.

Brownie Painting Badge

Brownies explore the Taft collection and paint their own still lifes.

Celebrating Community Badge

Brownies explore the Taft and nearby monuments and create a banner for use during a future ceremony.

Taft Patch: Art to Wear

Brownies and Juniors explore the depiction of costumes in paintings and design an outfit for a paper doll.

Outdoor Art Badge

Brownies–Ambassador Girl Scouts combine exploring downtown Cincinnati parks with art-making.
